Check out these convenient locations where you could put your washer and dryer to help set up your life exactly the way you want it ...

When you move into a new home, where you get to put your washer and dryer can make you feel limited. Usually there is a designated spot all set up for your laundry machines and you don’t really get much of a choice in the matter. But, what if you had the chance to pick where your washer and dryer lived? If you happen to be renovating your current home or building, or redesigning a new one, check out these convenient locations where you could put your washer and dryer to help set up your life exactly the way you want it.

Hallway Closet

If you could put your washer and dryer anywhere, having them sit in a hallway closet is a simple and discreet option. Hallways connect all the rooms in the house, making them a central place for everyone to drop off laundry.

Kitchen

When deciding where to put your washer and dryer, why not consider placing them in your kitchen? Whether it’s cooking, reading your mail, eating a snack, or talking over a hot beverage, you’re in your kitchen a lot. It’s the hub of the house for many families and keeping a stacked laundry pair behind seamless cabinetry can help increase efficiency. Now, you’ll be just a couple steps away from clean clothes and a full tummy.

Bathroom

This is another unusual spot to place your washer and dryer, but just like using your kitchen for laundry space, having your bathroom store your washing machines has multiple perks. Because water is already running through this room, the setup isn’t that difficult!

Not to mention, you’d technically have a towel warmer in your bathroom – making the after-shower chills a thing of the past. Just throw the towel you wanna use into your dryer before stepping into the shower or bath and pull it out when you’re done for a luxurious experience.

Mudroom

If you have a home with a mudroom, using it as a space to place your washer and dryer makes a lot of sense. On rainy days that get your clothes soaked, coming home to a washer and dryer is a wonderful first thing to see when you open the door. No need to slosh through the house and make a mess when you have a laundry pair ready to wash and dry your sweatshirt as soon as you enter the house.

Garage

Having a washer and dryer in your garage gives you more space in your home but also more space to be creative in your garage! They are good blank slates that allow you to design a unique laundry room setup.

While they may be farther than if placed inside the house, the distance helps keep the sound at bay. You’ll never have to listen to your washer and dryer’s loud cleaning ever again!

Extra Room

Giving your laundry machines their own room is a smart decision, especially if you have a lot of dirty clothes that take up a lot of space. From your partner to your kids, washing, drying, and folding clothes can become a full-time job, so having the right space can help make your working environment feel more organized.

Make it a cozy place by adding a comfy lounging chair and even a television to make laundry a fun time you look forward to.

While choosing where you get to put your washer and dryer is fun, it’s not really as important as getting to actually choose your washer and dryer. Visit our store to learn not only about our laundry machines, but also about the services we provide with them!

Unique Places to Put Your Washer and Dryer

When you're upgrading your home with a laundry pair from Samsung, make sure you have a convenient space that makes laundry day easier! Here are our favorite places to stash a laundry pair.

When purchasing a home, it’s not always a first thought to make sure there is a room specifically for the laundry machines. Generally, there will always be a setup in the garage for you to fall back on, but going out to the garage can be very inconvenient for washing clothes. From it being too hot or too cold, to just feeling isolated, cleaning your clothes in the garage can be a bit uncomfortable. For those of you wanting to get a new Samsung Laundry Pair and place them in a brand new area, here are a few setups that would help maximize your space to the fullest.

Hallway Closet

This laundry pair placement is usually the go-to after the garage. If you have a large hallway closet that can fit two Samsung laundry machines, you should take full advantage of it. We are proud to offer Samsung washers of all sizes from 4.3 cu. ft. to 5.0 cu. ft. so you’ll be able to go as compact or as large as you want in order to accommodate your space. This is a fantastic place to put your laundry pair because the closet keeps you in the house, and it usually connects rooms together, making it an easy place to drop off dirty clothes. Store your winter coats and everything else you had previously in your hallway closet somewhere else. It’s just too good of a spot to give up!

Mudroom

Not everyone has a mudroom, but if you do, placing your washer and dryer pair in it would be a convenient idea. The mudroom is located near an entryway of the home, making it the perfect place to remove clothes and wash them immediately. It’s a place that is meant specifically for removing your shoes and other dirty garments before tracking the mess they bring into the rest of the house.

For example: If you have dirty socks, just take them off and throw them in the wash. If you want a warm jacket before going out in the cold, throw it in the dryer for a couple minutes before leaving. It’s right there allowing you to keep your home immaculate by not tracking in wet, dirty clothes from the rain.

Bathroom

You’re probably thinking that adding a laundry duo to a bathroom seems icky. We get it, there’s a toilet in there and having that next to your clean clothes sounds just wrong. But, let’s think about the positives. You’ll be able to throw a load of laundry in on the Super Speed feature, and by the time you’re done getting ready for the day, it’ll be done! Not to mention, you’ll prevent your bathroom from ever getting littered in clothes and towels. You could even warm your towel up by tossing it in the dryer and pulling it out so it’s nice and warm when you’re done.

Kitchen

Putting your washer and dryer in the kitchen may seem like a counterintuitive idea, but it’s actually rather functional! Especially if you have a small space, putting your Samsung Laundry Pair in the kitchen can help keep your home open. Depending on the way your kitchen is set up, this could require a little construction to ensure your washer and dryer is pushed back against the wall and out of the way. You could even go with a Samsung compact laundry pair to help increase the space of your kitchen and avoid another crammed room. Not to mention, you could make breakfast for the kids and get some laundry done at the same time!
